Disclaimer: if something is damaged and unsaleable, hit 'F6 DMG' on the screen of the handheld and scan the item that is damaged. As you scan, make sure your handheld either beeps after each scan and/or watch the count on your pieces for truck to make sure you are scanning the items. As each tote and full case come down your conveyor belt, you're going to want to scan the tote tag (should be blue/white for front end merchandise or if it's a pharmacy totes then pink/white).Log into the telxon/Zebra handheld and from the main menu go to 'Receipts' and then 'Warehouse'.Now on to the how-to's (I hope these help). There have been times where I've been in stores where 3 up and 5 up counts are required, but when pulling bays, you should do periodic counts on any overstock that is left on each bay once all the items on it that can be stocked have been. I've never heard of anyone doing or requiring 1 up counts - your ASM must be quite particular. Congratulations on the SFL promotion! First, I'll address the 1 up counts.
